Claudio “Dong” Kazuaki Icari, 84, Hilo died May 19 at home. Born in Pahala, he was a retired carpenter foreman for Hawaiian Dredging &Construction Co. and U.S. Korean War-era veteran. Visitation 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday (June 13) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Service with military honors at 6 p.m. Casual attire; flowers and lei to be provided by family only. Survived by wife, Teresita Bihag Icari of Hilo; daughter, Sharon (Dennis) Saniatan of Hilo; sons, Reginald (Judy) Elvenia, Orrin (Nadine) Icari, Wendel (Hulali) Icari and Shawn (Michelle) Icari of Hilo; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ronald “Ronnie” McIntosh Jr., 64, of Kealakekua died May 24 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Honolulu, he was a caregiver and former waiter for Hale Koa Hotel and the former Kona Surf Resort and landscaper for Kona Village Resort. Services held. Survived by sister, Carol (Bruce) Clifford of Kealakekua; nephews. Arrangements by Cremation Services of West Hawaii.

Jadelyn “Ga” Hoonanea Ramos, 67, of Waimea died June 2 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Laupahoehoe, she was a homemaker, caregiver, member of Hawaii Preparatory Academy Class of 1968 Alumni and Mauka Mamas. Service information at a later date. Survived by mother, Ethel Chong Andrade of Waimea; daughters, Kristina (Chuck) Erskine of Waiakea, Katharine (Brent) Foster of Oceanside, Calif., and Kara (Bronson Sylva) Ramos of Waimea; eight grandchildren. Anna Yasuko Shigematsu, 94, of Honokaa died May 29 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Lahaina, Maui, she was a homemaker and member of Honokaa Hongwanji Mission and its Buddhist Women’s Association. Visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday (June 14) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire.
